April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, which means...

It's Almost Pinwheel Time!

Blue PINWHEELS are the national symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention. The pinwheel represents the happiness and whimsy of childhood, and it speaks to our belief that every child in our community deserves the opportunity to thrive - which starts in a safe and permanent home.  The mission of Champaign County CASA is to stand up for children in the court system who have experienced abuse and neglect.  It is our ultimate goal to give them hope and help them be kids again.  These kids are Our Kids, and we all have a role in keeping them safe.

Please consider the following ways you can get involved with the 2023 Pinwheel Project and stand with us against child abuse and neglect:

  • Become a Pinwheel Project Sponsor.  We'll recognize you as such, and provide you with an indoor or outdoor pinwheel display for your business or organization for the month of April.  You'll also receive a digital pinwheel image to post on your social media or digital sign. Find more information and the Sponsorship form HERE.  Download and submit the form by email and pay online HERE, or mail the form and check to the CASA office.
  • Make a gift.  With any individual donation of $25 or more between now and April 10, you will receive a digital pinwheel to demonstrate your support on social media in April. Give HERE today!

Stand with CASA as we stand up for Our Kids in court to prevent future abuse and neglect.
