Matt,* who was struggling with anxiousness and emotional regulation which was significantly impacting his behaviors at school and home. CASA advocated for counseling and in-home supports that were put into place. These supports taught Matt coping skills and provided his caregiver techniques that stabilized the placement. Matt was able to remain in the same home and school setting and is now thriving.

Tisha,* who is working toward independence, but has not had appropriate examples of how to manage the responsibilities of adulthood. Tisha is a motivated young adult but CASA wanted her to have support as she made the jump from high school to employment and secondary education. CASA advocated for life skills programs and independent living programs so Tisha could be successful while also receiving some guidance and support. Tisha is thriving in her own apartment, working, going to school part-time, and saving for her future.
